Avi's string band has been rehearsing here at our place for the past few weeks and let me say, they sound SOOOOOO good. They don't know this, but i sit at the top of the stairs and just listen. I love the music, I love the musicianship, I love the feeling. It's playful, it's down-homey - the grass has never been bluer here in gowanus, YOU ALL MUST COME HEAR THIS FOR YOURSELF...REALLY! You will undoubtedly leave feeling all warm inside.
